What is Lucky Dice Café?

Lucky Dice Café is one of Huntsville’s most unique spots to eat and to have fun. We are a game café that thinks of ourselves as a community center. We have 5000 square feet with about 70 percent of that dedicated to table space for customers. We focus on board games, miniature games, cards games and dice games. We also carry the product to support those hobbies. If it isn’t on the shelf, we can get it for you.

 Events occur every day and include card games such as Magic the Gathering and Pokemon, miniature games such Heroclix and 40k, and RPG games such Dungeons and Dragons and Shadowrun. Those and so much more. Regulars come in for scrabble, board game night, kid’s night, and Mahjong. We hold local and National tournaments for various games. 

Come out and lets us entertain you on Friday nights for “Adventure Night”, where we provide a professional game master with a different RPG game every week and includes food with ticket purchase. Join us for free play D&D Adventure league on Sundays. Play a new game with the owners on Monday night. Build Gundam models on Tuesday nights. So much is available!

The café has free internet but more importantly it has free games to play while at the cafe. These include games you grew with but also games you have never heard of. It’s a great way to try a game before purchasing. We have hundreds to choose from. Come in with friends or family, pick out a game, order some food and have fun! Don't like lugging your stuff all over the place. No problem. We have locker rentals.

We have gourmet hot and cold sandwiches with the very best of ingredients and served on fresh bread. Fresh baked cookies, wings, pizza, hot chili, and Suzy Pops are all on the menu. We have cold craft beer and major domestics to choose from as well. Our menu is themed to fit our crowd. Try our famous Jean Grey sandwich or spice it up a little and turn it into a Phoenix by adding in some buffalo sauce!

Need a place to host an event? Come talk to us. Want to have a birthday party or special event? Check out our party packages. Hungry? Come in and dine, call ahead and pickup or call Grubsouth and have it delivered. We got you covered!

Now you see why we call it a community center. We have something for everyone of all ages. We are open seven days a week, Monday thru Friday from 11am to 11pm, Saturday from 10am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 8pm.  Come and visit our warm and welcoming store that you will find well-lighted and clean.
